I take a google authority site to mean, a site that, when entered in google searchbar:

'sitedotcom'

returned are:

The index page for 'sitedotcom' followed by the description, following by a series of links only that relate to the site structure.

Does this alone identify a site as being an authority site?
This is what I've taken it to be.
